Best Wishes!

You're engaged! Once you've come back down from cloud nine, it's time to start thinking about your wedding and, specifically, your wedding stationery and signage. Below, you'll find a suggested timeline for handling all of your wedding paper needs.

first things first: your guest list

This is a tough one, so it's best to get it out of the way quickly! I suggest starting with your nearest and dearest and working your way out from there. And no, the sky will not fall if you don't invite your dad's-friend's-cousin-twice-removed.

six to eight months before your wedding: save the dates

Once you've got your guest list nailed down, you can send out your save the dates! Be sure to give as much time as possible if you're planning a destination or international wedding so guests can make their plans.

five to six months before your wedding: invitations

Now the real fun begins! It's time to design your wedding invitations! This process can take 2-3 months. Though, of course, your invitation design can always be fast tracked if you are on a tight schedule!

two months before your wedding: mailing + day-of details

You'll want to send out your invitations 6-8 weeks before your wedding day. If you sent save the dates, you can get away with 4 weeks.

Now it's time to focus on all the day-of details that will make your wedding one of a kind and unforgettable. After all, the details make the design! The sky is the limit here: place cards, signage, menus, programs, speciality pieces... the list is endless!

the big day!

You made it! Your wedding day is here at last!

The last thing you'll want to consider is your thank you notes. We can plan for these in advance, but I typically recommend you wait until your photos are back from your photographer (usually about 6-8 weeks after your wedding) so we can share one or more of your favorite images on your thank you cards.
