I’m here to help make your dream invitations a reality
I’ve been designing for as long as I can remember… print shop cards, family newsletters, reunion invitations… you name it, I created it! I followed that love of design and making things all the way to university, where I majored in graphic design. I wandered down the project management path after that, designing on the side and pleasing my Type-A left brain with checklists and timelines while I was at it.
But I needed a bit more creativity in my life, so I took up calligraphy in 2014 and haven’t looked back. It wasn’t until I got engaged, and decided to design and letter my own wedding invitations, that I realized what my next step was… wedding paper and details!
I started alexandra em. to be a collaborative, stress-free, one-stop-shop boutique. I help brides like you have the invitations and wedding details they’ve been dreaming of, and a design experience that is just as dreamy.
Do you Only Do Weddings?

I take on full-suite weddings, invitations, envelope calligraphy, and individual pieces like wax seals, escort boards, and welcome signs.

I received a BFA in Graphic Design and have been a practicing designer and project manager for more than 10 years.
As for the calligraphy side, I’ve been a lettering artist for the last 5 years and am always taking courses and resources to improve my skills!

NO. 1: CONSULTATION
Custom calligraphy is the best way to make your sure your invitations wow your guests! Complete the form below and we’ll get started!
Once we’ve talked about your vision, needs, and all your ideas, I’ll send along a proposal tailored to fit your priorities and budget. You’ll have access via a personal online workspace.
NO. 2: BOOKING + DESIGN
Once we’ve tied the (booking) knot, you’ll officially be an #AEMBride and all the fun can begin!
We’ll choose all the details, and I’ll create a design board, timeline, and checklist to keep it on track.
And don’t worry if you forgot something, we can always add it in!
NO. 3: PRINT + MAILING
Once you’ve given final approval, your invitations will print and then it’s time to send them to you guests!
Need them assembled, addressed, or sealed with a wax seal? No problem!
If you also need day-of details for your ceremony and reception, I’ve got that covered too!
